One New York high school hockey team took the Harlem Shake craze too far — and it cost them.

On Friday the Nyack/Tappan Zee Ice Hawks forfeited their upcoming playoff appearance, officially ending their 2013 season.

The school released no official statement on why the forfeit took place, but senior forward Corey Aronson admitted on Twitter that his team’s racy YouTube video did them in.

“We were forfeited from playoffs for a borderline inappropriate video in the locker room of Harlem shake,” he tweeted.

The now notorious video is below. Warning: it does contain images that some may consider graphic.
