The Daily Caller Senior Editor Jamie Weinstein appeared on Fox News’ “Red Eye” Tuesday and slammed New York Mayor Michael Bloomberg’s looming ban on restaurants selling sugary drinks greater than 16 ounces.
“I can understand the difficult decisions that you make between freedom and security — sometimes you have to give up a little freedom — but not between freedom and two liter sodas,” Weinstein said, referring to a New York Post report which said that the ban would prohibit people from buying two liter sodas when ordering pizza delivery.
“There is nothing that this man doesn’t think he can justify by saying it is in the public interest. I think he’s probably one of the most dangerous politicians in America. New York should be thankful he is leaving office soon. Let’s just hope he doesn’t run for president.”
