On Sunday’s broadcast of “Fox News Sunday,” Ann Romney told host Chris Wallace that the media was partially to blame for her husband’s loss on Election Day.
“It was not just the campaign’s fault,” she said. “I believe it was the media’s fault as well. … People were not allowed to really see him for who he was. … I’m happy to blame the media.”
The former Massachusetts governor’s wife went on to say her husband would be an asset for the country right now.
“He has enormous skill sets in dealing with difficult issues, and I totally believe at this moment if Mitt was there in the office, that we would not be facing sequestration right now.”
