In an interview with The Daily Caller’s Ginni Thomas, Andrew C. McCarthy, the former assistant United States attorney who successfully led the prosecutions of the 1993 World Trade Center bombers, said America has lost an important culture war.
“We’ve lost the culture, or at least we’ve lost a lot of it. We are so obsessed with politics and law that we forget about culture, and part of the reason there is an Islamist uprising in the Middle East right now is because those guys are all over culture. That’s what they are about. They are about controlling the culture.”
