As Rep. Paul Ryan’s budget drops, the National Republican Congressional Committee (NRCC) is out with a new video mocking President Obama’s budget, which “never balances.”
“For all of his talk of a ‘balanced’ approach, it’s telling that the President’s budget never balances,” said an NRCC spokesperson. “Democrats don’t even think we have a spending problem, which is why they continue to put out budgets that raise taxes and continue their spending binge.”
“Conservatives must stand with Paul Ryan and support his budget that balances in 10 years and would create middle class American jobs,” said the spokesperson. The NRCC is also asking people to co-sign a petition supporting “Paul Ryan’s budget that balances in 10 years.” The petition reads:
“THE PRESIDENT’S BUDGET NEVER BALANCES.
DEMOCRATS DON’T BELIEVE WE HAVE A SPENDING PROBLEM WHICH IS DESTROYING OUR ECONOMY AND FORCING US TO BURDEN FUTURE GENERATIONS WITH MOUNTAINS OF DEBT
I HEREBY STAND WITH PAUL RYAN BY SIGNING ON AS AN OFFICIAL SUPPORTER OF A BUDGET THAT BALANCES
WITHIN 10 YEARS AND WOULD CREATE MIDDLE CLASS AMERICAN JOBS.”
