One lucky donor to Minnesota Sen. Al Franken’s re-election campaign will win a brunch with the Democratic senator and Conan O’Brien in April.

According to a fundraising email from Franken’s campaign, “We’re going to fly one lucky supporter and a friend out to Los Angeles to attend a special brunch at Conan O’Brien’s house on Sunday, April 7.”

By donating to Franken’s campaign, a donor is entered to win a trip to the brunch with Franken, O’Brien and “some friends.”

“I hope you’ll enter. Do it for my grassroots campaign. Do it for the experience of a lifetime. Do it for the looks on your friends’ faces. Do it for the free meal,” Franken writes in the email. “Do it for Conan.”

The Democratic senator and Saturday Night Live alumnus is up for re-election in 2014. Roll Call ranks the race “leaning Democratic,” but if he draws a serious Republican opponent, the race could be in play.

Republican names that have been floated include Reps. Michele Bachmann, Erik Paulsen, and John Kline, as well as former Minnesota Gov. Tim Pawlenty. Franken’s campaign had over $1 million cash on hand at the end of last year.
