Chicago Mayor Rahm Emanuel’s older brother takes his tough-talking sibling down a couple notches in a new book coming out Tuesday.

On Monday, Politico’s Patrick Gavin revealed an early excerpt of the book, “Brothers Emanuel,” where Ezekiel Emanuel explains that Rahm sought chemical help to overcome his small stature in high school:

Later, as the middle Emanuel brother, Rahm was “outmuscled” by his fast-growing younger brother Ari, another headache.

“Schoolboys used size and muscle to establish a pecking order, which inevitably put Rahm at a disadvantage,” Ezekiel writes, adding later, Rahm “was so tiny in junior high school that he participated in trials for a growth-promoting drug.”
