Because the Kardashian family isn’t rich enough from practically doing nothing, they may sue Ford over an international ad that leaked on the Internet over the weekend.

In the ad, Paris Hilton is seen in the front seat of car with scantily clad sisters Kourtney, Khloe and Kim Kardashian bound and gagged in the trunk of the vehicle. (Hilton isn’t even close to being relevant anymore, so it is unclear why she would be featured in any ad in the first place.)

In a statement to E! Online, the Kardashian family lawyer said that they “do not take this lightly and they are exploring all of their legal options” against the people responsible for creating the ad. “The ‘leave your worries behind’ Ford ads are disgusting, vile and offensive to all women,” the lawyer said.

The ad was not featured in the United States and was for a Ford vehicle that isn’t even available in the U.S. Still, the Kardashian counsel said that “[i]t is unacceptable that Ford would align itself with an ad agency that would so carelessly release these ads.”

A similar ad featuring embattled former Italian Prime Minister Silvio Berlusconi throwing up a peace sign in the front of the car along with three gagged women in the trunk caused a similar uproar.

Ford said in a statement last week, “We deeply regret this incident and agree with our agency partners that it should have never happened. The posters are contrary to the standards of professionalism and decency within Ford and our agency partners. Together with our partners, we are reviewing approval and oversight processes to help ensure nothing like this ever happens again.”
