1.) Rand Paul is filibuster fighting — If you thought Rand Paul’s recent 13-hour filibuster was a one night stand, you may soon be proven wrong. TheDC’s Alex Pappas reports:
“Call it ‘Stand with Rand,’ part two. Fresh off his recent 13-hour talk fest from the Senate floor on drones, Kentucky Sen. Rand Paul is warning Democrats that he and other Republicans are prepared to filibuster again, this time over guns. Along with Utah Sen. Mike Lee and Texas Sen. Ted Cruz, Paul sent a letter Friday to Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid suggesting they would filibuster any attempt to vote on legislation restricting the right of Americans to express their Second Amendment rights.”
2.)Where in the world is Ashley Judd? — Hint: Not Kentucky. TheDC’s Alex Pappas reports:
“Ashley Judd continues to drop hints during speeches and events that she’s gearing up to run for the U.S. Senate. But oddly, the liberal actress seems to be doing this everywhere but in Kentucky, the state where she acknowledges she might move to mount a campaign against Republican Sen. Mitch McConnell. Her recent public schedule baffles political observers who talk with The Daily Caller because it plays into one of her biggest weaknesses; while Judd was raised in the Bluegrass state, she currently lives in Tennessee and hasn’t re-established her residency in Kentucky yet.”
3.) Alexis Levinson, Daily Caller warrior — Don’t judge a reporter by their cover. TheDC’s Alexis Levinson tells of her ninja training:
“It is a Sunday afternoon in March, and Kelly McCann has me pinned to the ground, torqueing my elbow and my wrist in different directions in such a way that I’m whimpering and cursing and laughing and trying hard not to wet my pants because the pain is so excruciating. When I get it together enough to tap out, Kelly launches himself forward over my head to make the point that, if he wanted to, he could have lodged his shoulder into my arm and, putting his entire body weight behind it, probably removed the limb from my body. With the status of my arm as still attached to my body confirmed, I lie there on the ground, giggling. This was day two of Kembativz, Kelly McCann’s civilian training course.”

4.) How has North Korea lasted so long? — A new documentary tries to to provide an answer. The director also says he likes North Korean pizza. TheDC’s Jamie Weinstein writes:
“Rob Montz confesses that perhaps the most interesting detail he discovered while putting his new documentary about North Korea together was that the Hermit Kingdom actually has excellent pizza. ‘Sadly, what’s irresistibly jumping to mind right now indicates precisely which organ holds the most sway in my life: North Korean pizza is actually pretty good,’ Montz told The Daily Caller in an email interview about his documentary, ‘Juche Strong.’ ‘We had some our last day there. Ham and cheese. Right amount of sauce. Crust was properly cooked. Washed that down with room-temperature coke.’ Montz traveled to the country many label as the world’s most oppressive in the summer of 2012, just three years after the economically-backward communist dictatorship opened its first pizza parlor.”
