Matt Lauer doesn’t exactly have the best reputation these days.
Lauer reportedly got his “The Today Show” co-anchor Ann Curry fired last year because they didn’t get along personally; was called “aloof, a little bit holier-than-thou, and pompous” in a cover story by a widely read publication and “and non-apologized to a former intern who called him out for being “not so nice.” Lauer replied on Twitter Wednesday, “huh? Always tried to be nice Mark. Sorry you didn’t think so. Hope you’re doing well. Matt” (Lauer’s tweet has since been deleted.)
There are also reports that NBC is considering replacing him with CNN’s Anderson Cooper when Lauer’s contract expires next year.
You know how “Everybody Love(d) Raymond”? Well, Matt Lauer’s life is like that but only the opposite.
But at least there are some people who are worse than Matt Lauer. Like these guys:
