Andre Drummond tosses up two consecutive airballs [VIDEO]

One airball is bad enough. But two in a row?

Come on Andre Drummond.

On Sunday, the Detroit Pistons rookie center stepped to the free throw line with the game tied in the fourth quarter against the Chicago Bulls.

His first shot didn’t even touch the net in one of the more pathetic free throw attempts in recent memory.

Usually a foul shooter coming off of an airball will over compensate and shoot a bit too hard just to make sure they hit something on their next shot.

Not so with Mr. Drummond, who tossed up an equally miserable second free throw attempt.

Hey, at least the second one touched the net before tumbling to the ground for a second straight airball.

The Bulls won the game by a totally appropriate one point.

To be fair, we probably should have seen this coming. Drummond is shooting an abysmal 35.2 percent front the free throw line this season, missing 79 of his 122 attempts. Of players that have taken at least 40 free throws this year, Drummond ranks, unsurprisingly, dead last.
