A lawsuit filed against a vendor that booked entertainment acts during the Republican National Convention this past August reveals several artists who turned down invitations to perform at the GOP festivities.

According to a report in the Washington Examiner, Lady Gaga declined down a million-dollar offer to perform at an RNC event happening near the convention in Tampa. An offer to donate an additional $150,000 to a domestic violence shelter also failed to sway the pop singer.

Gaga was not the only one to say “no, thanks” to performances — according to the report. Dolly Parton and Pitbull also declined invitations to the RNC, for a performance at a Hispanic Leadership Network event.

The lawsuit was filed by American Action Network — a Republican fundraising organization chaired by former Minnesota Republican Sen. Norm Coleman — against the event production company Cater America to try to recover $350,000 the organization lost when a Lynyrd Skynyrd concert the company put together was canceled due to Hurricane Isaac according to the Examiner report.

Cater America reportedly plans to filed a countersuit claiming that that American Action Network failed to pay $500,000 for the rock band Journey and failed to live up to a promise not to give away tickets.
