Actor and angry person Alec Baldwin — whose reported net worth is $65 million — said he doesn’t think of himself as rich.

In an interview with The Hollywood Reporter, the actor said that he doesn’t think of himself as a wealthy person.

Baldwin pens frequent columns for The Huffington Post and regularly talks about his disgust for income inequality in America.

When asked by THR if there is a “moral way to live as a wealthy person,” Baldwin responded, “I never thought of myself as a wealthy person. I’ve thought of myself as a person who has had a lot of luck.”

He continued, “I don’t have the same stress that other people have, but there are too many things I could have done differently if wealth was what I was after. If I was all about money, I would have lived in L.A.”

According to CelebrityNetWorth.com, Baldwin’s reported net worth is $65 million. In addition to his decades-long film career, Baldwin starred on seven seasons of “30 Rock,” in which he reportedly made $300,000 per episode. From seasons three to seven, he was also credited as a producer of the series.

In the interview Baldwin also talked about his brother, actor Stephen Baldwin, who is a conservative Republican. When asked if he and his brother discuss their very different political ideologies, Baldwin said that “[h]is politics have no relevance in my life whatsoever…Ultraconservatism is, to me, so illogical. Everywhere you go, conservatives want to cut, cut, cut, cut — cut money for powerless people. So that’s the biggest problem I have with them.”

The actor also took the interview as an opportunity to take a swipe at News Corp. CEO Rupert Murdoch. Baldwin has famously been involved in physical and verbal altercations with photographers from the New York Post, which is owned by News Corp.

In reference to his physical encounters and Twitter spats with certain media outlets, Baldwin said that he “was born” to spit on “conservative” media like the New York Post and Fox News. The actor said that if he were a conservative, he would not receive the same media scrutiny that he does now.

“Page Six is kind of a stiletto for a rabidly conservative political operation. You know, Fox News, Rupert Murdoch — killing people of a certain stripe, that’s their goal, ” Baldwin told THR. “And I just happen to be the recipient of an abundance of that.”
