Kim Kardashian has sure had one hell of a pregnancy. First, the tabloids have spewed fat jokes right and left about her. Then she was accused of lying about her pregnancy, or at least the due date. And now, her still contractually-bound husband Kris Humphries won’t even show up to court to end their marriage.
While both of the former star-crossed lovers were required to show up for court Friday, Humphries played hookie.
“I highly doubt he’s going to come today,” one of the bailiffs said when asked about Humphries.
In what is shaking up to be the never-ending story, the Kardashian divorce is lasting longer than the couple’s 72-day marriage. Kim seems to just want a divorce, while Kris says he’s looking for an annulment on the grounds of fraud. A classic he said, she said tale, really.
“Kris only wants an annulment,” one of Humphries friends told People magazine. “He never wanted to be married more than once, and he feels like she cheated him out of the chance to have a real, loving marriage.”
For those of you not keeping up with the Kardashians, Kim is deeply distraught about still being married to one man whist of child with man. Not ideal, but neither is having a leaked sex tape. Or your ex-boyfriend releasing a song titled “I Hit It First” about you. But somehow, those great details go unnoticed.
