Miami Heat forward Shane Battier said recently that his only superstition during the Heat’s 27-game winning streak during the regular season was drinking the same beer – Bud Light.
“I’m staying loyal to Bud Light,” he said.
Well, Bud Light would like to thank Shane Battier for staying loyal by making sure he never needs to pay for another beer for the next few centuries.
Bud Light filled a delivery truck with over 1,000 cases of Bud Light and made a surprise delivery to Battier, who was both surprised and pleased with the development.
“I’ll take it all. I’ll take it all,” responded Battier when the delivery man pointed at the truck full of Battier’s favorite beverage.
Loyalty paid off big time.
