After escaping from her abductor, Amanda Berry, who was held captive for 10 years, can be heard asking police for help and naming one of her alleged captors, Ariel Castro, in a newly released 911 tape.

“Help me. I’m Amanda Berry,” Berry said on the 911 tape.

“I’ve been kidnapped and I’ve been missing for 10 years, and I’m, I’m here, I’m free now,” Berry continued on the tape.

Berry, who disappeared in 2003 at age 16, was discovered with two other missing women —- Gina DeJesus and Michelle Knight — and a six-year-old girl believed to be Berry’s daughter, in Cleveland, Ohio, a short distance from where they were originally kidnapped about a decade ago.

Castro and his brothers Pedro Castro, and Onil Castro were arrested Monday in the kidnapping of the girls.
