I give ABC News a hard time when they run cover for Obama, so I have to give credit to Jonathan Karl for pursuing the truth here, even though it exposes a Democratic administration’s lies:
“What was taken out? All references to Al-Qaeda, and all references to CIA warnings before the attack about the terror threat in Benghazi…
“I have had e-mails read to me that show that many of these changes were directed by Hillary Clinton’s spokesperson at the State Department, Victoria Nuland. In one e-mail, she said that information about the CIA warnings ‘could be abused by members of Congress to beat up the State Department for not paying attention to warnings, so why would we want to feed that?’ After that e-mail, all of those references were deleted.”
Indeed. Why would the State Department want to tell the truth? After all, they have a reputation to maintain.
They all knew Benghazi was a terrorist attack from the very beginning. They all knew it had nothing to do with any YouTube video. They all knew that they were to blame for ignoring all the warnings. They lied to us, and to the families of the victims. They they lied about their lies. And lied about those lies. On and on and on.
Can’t wait to see how they lie about this. Get to work, Media Matters. Brainstorm away, JournoList 2.0.
