Well, we have ourselves another Tim Tebow defender, but this time it isn’t some loudmouthed talking head on ESPN trying to cling to a job by being controversial.

No, no. This time it’s perhaps the only person in American history who can rival the hype that Tim Tebow has received in his unspectacular career:

Chuck Norris.

Any time the name Chuck Norris is uttered, one is forced to assume the topic is yet another Chuck Norris Fact describing his amazing feats of never-ending awesomeness.

Perhaps one that would top the list of the most unfathomable Chuck Norris Facts would be something along the lines of ‘Chuck Norris made Tim Tebow into a good NFL quarterback.’

“Tebow is a player who rises to the occasion and delivers big in critical moments,” Norris wrote in an online article. “He reminds me of myself when I used to compete in martial arts.”

How happy is Tim Tebow right now?

For the last several weeks since getting bounced by the New York Jets, he’s been fielding embarrassing offers to be a coach in the Lingerie Football League and as a backup quarterback in Arena Football.

With an endorsement from Chuck Norris, fellow QBs Peyton Manning, Tom Brady and Robert Griffin III might want to watch their backs. After all, when Chuck Norris does push-ups, he isn’t raising himself, he’s pushing the earth down.
