Larry King is not only still alive, he’s heading back to live television.

The iconic 79-year-old American broadcaster is joining the Russian-funded propaganda network RT America two and a half years after he was gently pushed out at CNN after a quarter century at the network. Since then, he has been producing a TV show in his basement that appears online at Hulu.com. The show is produced through Ora TV — a production company he founded with the world’s second richest man, Mexican business tycoon Carlos Slim.

RT will carry King’s online program, “Larry King Now,” as well as a new program, “Politics with Larry King.”

“I have always been passionate about government and issues that impact the public, and I’m thrilled at the opportunity to talk politics with some of the most influential people in Washington and around the country,” Kind said in a statement.

King’s shows will launch on RT in July. The shows will also be available online through Hulu and Ora TV. King will record the shows in both Washington and Los Angeles.
