Mad magazine’s current issue weighs in on Republican New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie’s bromance with President Barack Obama, lending to the cultural acceptance that the talented and popular Republican as the man who helped re-elect Obama in the aftermath of superstorm Sandy.

Mad, which since 1952 has served as a jaundiced canary-in-the-coal mine for our misbegotten culture, has a feature in its current bimonthly issue entitled “Chris & Barack’s Jersey Shore Memories 2013.”

As The Daily Caller reported, Obama did not personally meet with Christie’s 2013 Democratic opponent, Barbara Buono, at his New Jersey visit Tuesday, instead merely greeting her along with approximately 30 other people in a situation that included a photo line.
