The finest exports from Rhode Island and Wisconsin [SLIDESHOW]

May 29 marks the day that both Rhode Island and Wisconsin were admitted into the Union, albeit 58 years apart. While one state is known for their miles of ocean beaches, and the other for their cheese and beer, they have something very important in common: beautiful ladies.

Without the Badger State, we wouldn’t have Roller Girl or a Go Daddy girl. The Ocean State, on the other hand, was kind enough to give Miss Universe and the iconic rose petal scene from American Beauty.

In honor of these two wonderful states, here are some of the most talented and aesthetically pleasing women they have produced.

  • Cranston native Olivia Cuplo went from representing Rhode Island to the entire nation when she won Miss Universe in 2012.
  • Claudia Jordan, hailing from Providence, has been on "Celebrity Apprentice" multiple times and was a "Deal or No Deal" girl. This model also has a weekly radio show on SiriusXM.
  • Michaela McManus is originally from Warwick in the Ocean State. She is best known for her roles in "One Tree Hill" and "Law & Order: SVU."
  • Elisabeth Hasselbeck, from Cranston, has done Rhode Island well. She has co-hosted "The View" and "Good Morning America," and is known for being vocally conservative in her political views.
  • Actress Heather Graham, from Milwaukee, made a name for herself in the acting world by portraying a porn star in Boogie Nights. Most recently, she's been a fixture in "The Hangover" franchise.
  • Danica Patrick brings pride to the Badger State by being the most successful woman in American open wheel racing. Fast cars and hot women? Wisconsin's got it locked down.

  • Laura Kaeppeler proudly represented the land of cheese and beer by nabbing the title of Miss America in 2012.
  • Singer and songwriter Skylar Grey has written hooks for some of the most popular songs in recent Top 40 charts. Through her, America's dairyland gave us "Love the Way you Lie."
