In a video posted Monday, a Domino’s in the United Kingdom unveiled the cutting edge of pizza delivery technology, an unmanned drone called the “DomiCopter” shown actually delivering pizzas.

A company spokesman told CNN the drone is,  “the brainchild of our independent master franchise company in the U.K.”

The British digital media company T and Biscuits collaborated with drone firm AeroSight in the drone’s design and promotion.

Don’t get excited quite yet, though. The FAA has placed a ban on the commercial use of drones, which will remain until 2015 while the agency works out a regulatory framework for the new technology.

Domino’s U.S. spokesman Tim McIntyre asserted, “this has nothing to do with us in the U.S. and we have no plans to pursue this idea.”
