Letterman, whose lips cherish the memory of every contour and crevice of the current Commander-in-Chief’s buttocks, managed to get through a political joke in 2013 without mocking Bush or Cheney. He’s almost acting like a comedian, instead of a Democrat Party apparatchik.
Maybe things really are changing. Or maybe he just sees Leno’s ratings and figures he’s got nothin’ to lose.
