The pro-life organization Live Action has released the fifth installment of its undercover video series purporting to expose the inhumanity of the late-term abortion industry.

Live Action’s most recent video largely consists of clips from the group’s earlier undercover recordings of late term clinics, and also presents a new audio recording of interactions between a 24-week pregnant Live Action investigator and employees an abortion clinic in Albuquerque, New Mexico.

The edited recording, which appears toward the end of Live Action’s approximately seven and a half minute pro-life advocacy presentation, offers a voice recording of the conversations between the investigator and an unnamed counselor, as well as a conversation between the investigator and the doctor, Carmen Landau.

When the Live Action investigator asks the counselor, who is explaining the procedure, if the unborn infant will feel the injection, the counselor tells the investigator she unsure saying she does not “believe so.”

“I don’t know if it is developed enough to feel that,” she says, adding “it might be.”

“I feel that it’s, necessary for the procedure to happen and, ultimately, safest, and kind of the most, kinda, humane way to do it, you know?” the video further shows the counselor saying.

In the also edited conversation with Landau, the doctor explains that the injection is “like any shot, you know, like a flu shot or a vaccine, really.”

“And it is not like you and I, where when we get a flu shot, we’re kind of ‘Ugh!’ not — that — that experience of anxiety and suffering is not — it’s not capable of,” she explains further. “And so that, I think, helps us all to feel more comfortable with this.”

Watch:

Toward the video, which was recorded at Southwestern Women’s Options, Live Action features footage of a baby, “Toby,” who was born at 24 weeks and is now three years old.

“Toby puts a name and a face to the atrocious murders occurring in these facilities,” Live Action president Lila Rose said in a statement. “Every day, abortionists are brutally killing children just like him. Whether they’re called ‘fetuses’ or ‘babies,’ this fact doesn’t change, and it’s time for Americans to come to terms with it.”

The video was released a day after the House Judiciary Committee approved a ban on abortions after the 20th week of pregnancy. That legislation — sponsored by Arizona Republican Rep. Trent Franks — is expected to come to the House floor next week.
