Sarah Palin is really sick of Bill Maher

Font Size:

Who isn’t, right? And she’s got better reason that most.

Here she is on Twitter yesterday, calling out that shaved-down albino proboscis monkey in no uncertain terms:

Here’s what she’s talking about. Breitbart News:

Conservative Ron Futrell knew to expect plenty of left-of-center jibes when he settled into his seat to see Bill Maher at The Pearl Theater in Las Vegas June 8.

Futrell didn’t think he’d hear the HBO personality mock former Gov. Sarah Palin’s special needs child or hear the crowd laugh right along.

Futrell, a former Las Vegas sports broadcaster and Breitbart News contributor, says on his blog that Maher used the term “retarded” to describe young Trig Palin during the comedy performance. Later, Futrell started heckling the comic over a reference to Halliburton, a confrontation which eventually led to Futrell being asked to leave the venue.

Ron Futrell himself writes about the incident here:

I was sitting in the back of the room with my friends (who paid for my ticket) when Maher made his Trig Palin joke. I decided to move in closer to the stage, though I was still sitting a ways back. At that point, Maher made a joke about Halliburton. Still disgusted, I blurted out, “It’s 2013, Bill. You might want to update your material.” It was as much a comment on his use of the “r” word as it was on his use of old material. Maher heard me and responded. I also got some flak from some of the other audience members. Then the security guards asked me to leave. I gladly did.

Maher doesn’t need to update his material, because his target audience longs for the days when it was okay to criticize the President of the United States. He’s a nostalgia act.

And Maher won’t ever agree to meet with Palin, because he’s a coward and he knows she could kick his ass. Both figuratively and literally. Hell, I’d watch that on pay-per-view.

It’ll never happen, and I’ll bet Maher even manages to make himself the victim in all this. “Wahhh, the mean conservative is picking on me because she can’t take a joke!” It’s okay to be a hateful, bigoted misogynist who mocks a little kid just because he’s different. And just because you hate his mom. That’s acceptable, preferred even, as long as she’s a conservative. Then anything goes.

Raise him up on your shoulders, libs. Bill Maher is your hero.

P.S. The left’s respect for women: a look back.

P.P.S. Commenter Chris Debaillon has a correction: “This article is riddled with errors. Bill Maher should always be referred to by his full name: Seven-Figure Obama Donor Bill Maher.” The DC Trawler regrets the error.
