Disgraced former New York Gov. Eliot Spitzer apparently has a soft spot for hookers’ kitties.

In an interview with the New York Post, Kristen Davis, the “Manhattan Madam” who admitted to supplying Spitzer with prostitutes, alleged that Spitzer gave one of the girls an extra $500 to pay for her cat’s medical bills. Irma Nici, a Spitzer regular who also claimed to have a scandalous affair with former soccer star David Beckham, reportedly told Spitzer she had a cat that was being treated for cancer. Davis held that Spitzer threw Nici the extra $500 after a steamy session and said, “Here, this is to take care of your cat.”

The Spitzer camp has strongly denied Davis’ accusations.

“Eliot has long said these assertions are untrue. He’s running for comptroller on his record and on the issues that matter most to New Yorkers,” Spitzer spokeswoman Lisa Linden said.

Davis, who is running against Spitzer for New York City Comptroller, admitted that Spitzer had a sensitive side, though she thoroughly bashed him for his sexually aggressive tendencies towards the girls.

“He was aggressive, trying to force them to do things,” Davis said. “They felt he was too rough. He was trying to pull your head toward him to make you do things uncovered. You’d say, ‘No, I have to put a condom on,’ only he’s not listening to you. He’s just steamrolling over you.”
