4chan (the site that invented modern-day trolling) users are helping a gross, 39-year-old man hijack a radio contest win a meet-and-greet with Taylor Swift just so he can sniff her hair.
Boston’s Kiss108 pop station is giving away two tickets to Swift’s concert and a chance to meet her backstage by receiving the most votes on the station’s website.*
An anonymous 4chan post asked users to help Charles “crush the dreams of these girls and give him a chance to make a complete ass of himself by blatantly just sniffing her hair with cameras rolling,” Gawker reports.
The stunt soon spread to Reddit and by Tuesday afternoon, Charles was in first place to win two tickets to Swift’s concert and the chance to sniff her hair backstage.
The contest rules state that a contestant can be disqualified at any time, so let’s just hope that Charles is left to sit at home in his mother’s basement and sniff his own farts.
*In an attempt to view the radio station’s contest, the author inadvertently voted for Charles to win Taylor Swift tickets, thereby contributing to the problem. Don’t make the same mistake!
