American player Brek Shea scored an amazing, game-winning goal against Costa Rica in the Gold Cup soccer tournament on Tuesday.
“First U.S. goal, only goal of the game, it wins the group. Really good,” Shea told ESPN.com after the game.
Props to American goal keeper Sean Johnson, who made the epic save that set Shea up to score.
“Once I made the save,” Johnson told ESPN.com. “We just tried to get it out of there. Then I saw it cleared and we’re breaking the other way. It created an opportunity, and we finished it.”
