Weiner’s latest boner: calling GOP opponent “grandpa” at AARP debate

Font Size:

The more I think about how strenuously our moral, ethical and intellectual betters on the left defended Anthony Weiner, while slandering Andrew Breitbart for telling the truth about him, the happier I am about stories like this.

The NY Post reports:

At an AARP-Univision mayoral forum this morning, mayoral contender Anthony Weiner pulled out the age card to taunt his most vocal challengers, 69-year-old Doe Fund founder George McDonald. Weiner is 48.

Before the debate, Weiner put a hand on McDonald’s back and said hello, prompting McDonald to reply: “I would appreciate if you would never touch me again.”

Weiner retorted: “What are you going to do about it, grandpa?” according to two sources.

In fairness, this wouldn’t be the first time an older gentleman had Weiner problems.

I think Weiner should run with this. Go the full Rickles. Start calling women “cupcake” and “toots” and “dollface,” hurl ethnic and homophobic slurs, the whole bit. With that lunatic grin on his face all the while. What’s he got to lose?

And he should stay in this race to the bitter end. Both for my personal enjoyment, and to keep proving all his erstwhile defenders wrong.

You were wrong, you idiots. 🙂

Update: Just kidding! Weiner was standing up for himself against that mean ol’ Rethuglican or something.

Update: Commenter Jon [no last name given] notes, “Too bad it didn’t end up in a fight — the Post would have had the option of running an ‘Old Man Beats Weiner’ headline to give all the liberal media types in New York the vapors.”
