Fifty-one percent of Americans believe that President Barack Obama’s economic policies are too hostile to small businesses, according to a new Rasmussen poll released Tuesday.

Only three percent of Americans feel that Obama’s policies are too friendly to small businesses, according to the poll, which marks the first time in Rasmussen polling that a majority of respondents said that Obama’s small-business policies are too “hostile.”

Thirty-five percent of Americans feel that Obama’s economic policies are just right with regard to small businesses, marking a new low in Rasmussen polling.

A Gallup poll released last week placed Obama’s economic approval rating at 35 percent.
