Newark Mayor and New Jersey Senate hopeful Cory Booker will raise money with a star-studded crowd next month, when he travels to Hollywood for an event hosted by the newest Batman, Ben Affleck, along with Matt Damon, Jennifer Garner, and others.

The fundraiser to benefit Booker’s Senate bid is set for September 23, less than a month before the October 16 special election, Hollywood Reporter reports. Entrance costs $1,000 at minimum, and goes up to $10,000.

The event will be held at the house of Ron Burkle, a businessman who was a big supporter of Hillary Clinton’s 2012 Democratic presidential primary campaign. Jerry Weintraub, who produced “The Karate Kid,” is also on the host committee, along with J.J. Abrams and his wife, Katie McGrath. Former Disney CEO Michael Eisner; Troy Carter, who manages Lady Gaga; Netflix’s Ted Sarandos and his wife, former ambassador Nicole Avant; Patrick Whitesell, co-CEO of WME; talent agency head Bob Gersh; and Sean Bailey, President of Walt Disney Studios Motion Picture Production round out the host committee.

This is not Booker’s first foray into Hollywood fundraising. In April, Weintraub held a fundraiser for Booker’s Senate campaign.

Booker faces Republican Steve Lonegan in the special election for the seat previously held by Sen. Frank Lautenberg, who passed away earlier this year.
