Matt Drudge, founder and editor of the conservative website the Drudge Report, took to Twitter Tuesday to voice his displeasure with the Republican Party.

Tuesday morning, Drudge tweeted:

His rhetorical question was preceded by the assertion that there are no longer differences between Republicans and Democrats. “It’s now Authoritarian vs. Libertarian. Since Democrats vs. Republicans has been obliterated, no real difference between parties…” he wrote.

Monday evening Drudge tweeted out the results of a poll posted at his website on whether to “give Obama authority to conduct military operation in Syria”

By Tuesday afternoon, with more then 505,800 Drudge readers voting, the poll showed 8.44 percent support granting authority and 91.56 percent oppose.

Tuesday morning, Speaker of the House John Boehner and House Majority Leader Eric Cantor said they support President Barack Obama’s call for military intervention in Syria.
