A Franklin, Tenn., Red Lobster employee has been suspended with full pay after she posted a picture of a receipt given to her by a customer on Saturday.

Toni Christina Jenkins, a 19-year-old waitress, claims that a customer wrote the n-word on the receipt after writing “none” in the “tip” section.

Jenkins posted a photo of the receipt to her Facebook page with the comment, “This is what I got as a tip last night…so happy to live in the proud southern states..God Bless America, land of the free and home of the low class racists of Tennessee.”

The photo has since been removed from her Facebook page, but that didn’t stop it from going viral.

Some Internet speculators doubt the veracity of Jenkins’ claim, noting that the handwriting seems to be different in the word “none” than in the racial slur.

Jenkins maintains her story is true, telling the Daily Mail that she posted the receipt hoping to get “a few likes” on Facebook and said that she would never fake a receipt just because she didn’t receive a tip.

“I really don’t care cause God is my provider I don’t worry about tips,” Jenkins told the Daily Mail.

Jenkins has since been suspended with full pay by her manager while the restaurant investigates the incident.
