Kanye West doesn’t “give a fuck about how much money you make,” despite repeatedly bragging about how much money he makes in interviews and on his albums.
West got drunk on Wednesday night at a listening party for Pusha T’s new album and took the opportunity to rant about rappers who always rap about how loaded they are, Miss Itnfo reports.
“This is the fuck we make,” West said, inexplicably. “We make good music, we make good music. We don’t give a fuck about how much god damn money you make, we make good music.”
He also said that he hates “fucking sellouts” and that he doesn’t “give a fuck about none of these corporations.”
West, who likens himself to Jesus and raps about private jets and fur coats in his latest album “Yeezus,” reportedly got paid $3 million to perform for the dictator of Kazakhstan just two weeks ago.
In an interview with W Magazine this summer, he compared himself to the French designer and architect Le Corbusier and asked, “How do you spell Mies van der Rohe?”, which is a sentence only rich people can understand.
West also told The New York Times earlier this year, “I will be the leader of a company that ends up being worth billions of dollars, because I got the answers. I understand culture. I am the nucleus.”
But he doesn’t give a fuck about how much money you or he or anyone else makes AT ALL.
