The players of the Skyline High School football team must feel pretty stupid.
They were leading 24-23 in a game against Columbia River High School when they blocked Columbia’s kick, reports Bleacher Report.
The players began to rush the field in celebration without checking whether the ball was officially downed. Oops.
Columbia River was able to scoop the ball up and run for a touchdown, letting them win the game. No doubt Skyline players will double check every play ending from here on out.
