Weiner will pop up on TV
You can’t keep Weiner down.
Disgraced former mayoral candidate Anthony Weiner is set to join NY1’s “Road to City Hall” program tonight as part of the “NY1 Wise Guys” panel, show host Errol Louis announced on air Monday night.
“After Anthony Weiner lost last week, we thought he’d be an interesting choice to be a guest Wise Guy to weigh in on the race for mayor and other issues of the day,” NY1 political director Bob Hardt said in an e-mailed statement.
Plus, he ain’t got $#!+ else to do. Trifles like shame and common sense are for lesser men. This is Anthony Freaking Weiner. He only got into politics so he could get on TV and attract groupies who wanted to see his ding-dong, so why would he go away now? What’s he gonna do, get a job?
Speaking of the cameras he loves, TMZ is still following him around. Check out this clip of him and his son trying to cross the street while a cab makes an illegal turn. I guess the nice thing about your every move being watched by the paparazzi is that if somebody runs you down as you’re just trying to make your way across the street, the driver can’t lie about it.
In other news, Sydney Leathers still exists.
Finally, Kurt Schlichter at Townhall.com lists a few of Andrew Breitbart’s sweet, sweet victories, of which forcing Anthony Weiner to tell the truth was just one:
Anthony Wiener is gone now, swept away because Andrew refused to let the mainstream media enablers cover for him. Without Andrew, it would be Mayor Weiner, or perhaps even Senator Weiner. The mind recoils at the thought of the personal “filibustering” photos the Distinguished Gentleman from Twitter would be texting to barely legal teens.
Now he’s on local NYC cable, and lucky to be there.
Hang in there, Anthony. Or out, as the case may be. You’ll find another Sydney Leathers someday. Don’t give up. Don’t despair…
