The artist currently known as James Franco sure fooled you!
The actor, poet, director and insufferable weirdo posed for several paparazzi-style photos and posted them to Instagram on Thursday to teach us about the trappings of celebrity culture. Or something.
In one set of photos, he is seen kissing and holding hands with another dude with the caption, “Just a Franco afternoon GAWKER.” In another set, he kisses a blonde woman with the caption, “Franco throws food, has mystery date with girl!! Miley Cyrus? HUFFPOST”
“Franco is squirelly in love! NEW YORK TIMES,” another caption exclaims, with an arrow and the word “Lohan?” pointing to a mysterious blonde lady that he is making out with.
The stunt is probably supposed to have a message, but right now the message is “James Franco is an idiot.”
