A couple million of celebrity twerker Miley Cyrus’ Twitter followers are not real, putting her in the same company as First Lady Michelle Obama, according to a recent Daily Caller analysis.

The 20-year old starlet currently boasts over 14 million followers on Twitter, but according to social media analytics service StatusPeople, approximately 2,250,559 followers are fake.

23 percent of her followers are inactive, and 61 percent of her followers are considered “good,” or real, by StatusPeople.

Fake followers generally include accounts that tweet spam, called spam bots. During the 2012 presidential election, several campaigns came under public scrutiny for allegedly purchasing fake Twitter followers.

Cyrus has been making waves ahead of the October release of her new album, Bangerz, ever since her provocative performance at the 2013 MTV Video Music Awards in August.

Cyrus, however, is not alone in attracting millions of fake accounts. The Daily Caller previously reported that over 11 million of Oprah Winfrey’s Twitter followers are fake and nearly 2 million of Michelle Obama’s @MichelleObama Twitter followers are fake. Nearly 55 percent, or 20.2 million, of President Obama’s then 36,802,378 Twitter followers were found to be fake as well.
