You totally suck compared to this bungee-jumping wheelchair guy

Over the weekend, a wheelchair-bound man named Riley Martin bungee jumped from a bridge in Whistler, British Columbia.

The 21-year-old Canadian — who was paralyzed from the waist down in an automobile accident — plays tennis, basketball and rugby, too, the Daily Mail notes. He has also won a wheelchair half marathon.

And he drives a sweet 1966 Mustang to boot.

The dashing daredevil posted his bungee exploits on the social media site Reddit under the fitting username itakethecake.

“The guys that helped strap me in made me even more nervous with all their ‘jokes’ about not having done a wheelchair for long enough that they’d forgotten how to set it all up,” Martin said.

In a question-and-answer page on Reddit, Martin also explained why he remained strapped in his wheelchair for the jump.

“They said it was easier to do it that way,” he said. “I think it would have been less comfortable for me as well to have my legs flailing everywhere instead of strapped to my chair so they wouldn’t move haha.”
