How many times per week do you sit alone on your futon in your studio apartment, getting drunk off red wine only to wish that your feline companion could imbibe along with you? Six? Seven? Well, wish no more.
A company in Japan (of course it’s in Japan) has developed “wine” for cats. Pet supply company B&H Lifes created “Nyan Nyan Nouveau” so that humans can celebrate birthday and other special occasions with a celebratory beverage, Kotaku reports. “Nyan nyan,” as Kotaku explains, can mean either “cat’s meow” or “sex” in Japanese.
Nyan Nyan Nouveau doesn’t actually have alcohol in it, but it does have juice made from Cabernet grapes and the catnip chemical that makes cats go crazy.
Unfortunately, the beverage is currently only available in Japan, so unless you live there you’ll still be drinking alone.
