Virginia gubernatorial candidate Terry McAuliffe is “deeply unserious,” according to a new ad produced by the Fight For Tomorrow political action committee.

The ad, shared first with The Daily Caller, uses footage from a Sept. 25 debate in McLean, Va., when McAuliffe, the former Democratic National Committee chairman, was asked repeatedly to describe how much money his proposals would cost. He later came under for criticism from Republican opponent Ken Cuccinelli for not being specific.

According to its website, Fight For Tomorrow is hoping to raise $50,000 to air the ad on Sundays during NFL games.

“The distance between what Terry McAuliffe says and the truth is infinite. His left wing allies have smeared Republicans in order to hide McAuliffe’s appalling lack of seriousness, specific plans and qualifications for the job,” Fight For Tomorrow executive director Matt Mackowiak told TheDC. “We will hold him accountable and this is only the beginning.”

Fight For Tomorrow is new a national super PAC that was created last month. Mackowiak says the PAC plans to also target Democrats in six to eight U.S. Senate races this year.

Voters head to the polls in Virginia on Nov. 5.
