Florida Democratic Sen. Bill Nelson called for heads to roll over the Obamacare website’s problem-plagued launch this week.

“It’s inexcusable, somebody ought to get fired,” the Florida Democrat said in an interview with Florida’s Local 10.

When asked if Health and Human Services Secretary Kathleen Sebelius is the person who should be fired, Nelson demurred.

“No, they should wait and get the thing up and running and then determine and let somebody be accountable,” he said. “That’s the problem in government today, people are not held to account.”

Nelson was in the state to endorse Philip Levine, a candidate for mayor of Miami Beach. He added that he will support the Democratic challenger to Gov. Rick Scott.

Tuesday, New Hampshire Democratic Sen. Jeanne Shaheen called for an extension of Obamacare’s open enrollment period due to the troubles with HealthCare.gov.
