Back in 2009, Gov. Mike Huckabee went on Jon Stewart’s “The Daily Show” to discuss abortion, which is not an issue that usually comes up on comedy programs. The conversation was not only civil, but at the end, Stewart even conceded he personally struggles with the issue.
“I can be incredibly certain about so many issues and get my dander up,” he said. “This is one that I can’t. And it’s the one that I probably — in the culture — struggle with the most. I think it is a very difficult issue.”
