According to the new book “Double Down,” in which journalists Mark Halperin and John Heilemann chronicle the 2012 presidential election, President Barack Obama told his aides that he’s “really good at killing people” while discussing drone strikes.
I’m sure the Nobel Peace Prize committee will be thrilled to hear that.
Obama does seem to have a cavalier attitude about the subject. Remember this?
And now they’ve broken up. Coincidence?

Update: Okay, maybe that’s not fair. Peter Hamby did mention Obama’s cold-blooded drone-gloating in his WaPo review of the book. In paragraph 10. He doesn’t think it’s anything like the “made-for-Hollywood scenes of ‘Game Change.'” Wonder why not?
