The administration will release the number of people who have enrolled in Obamacare next week, Marilyn Tavenner, administrator of the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services, said Tuesday.
“We are in the process of putting together that information,” she told the Senate Health, Education, Labor,and Pensions Committee.
The administration has been repeatedly criticized for not releasing that information in the month since the enrollment website, HealthCare.gov, went live.
Last week, Health and Human Services Secretary Kathleen Sebelius said that they did not know how many people had enrolled because the system was messed up and was not providing “reliable” data.
