Hockey is not a sport for the faint of heart, at any level.
Eric Veilleux, coach of the junior ice hockey team Baie-Comeau Drakkar was suspended two games and fined $1,000 after he started chucking hockey sticks at a referee. It’s unclear what call the ref made that pushed Veilleux over the edge, but clearly it merited throwing six sticks onto the rink.
It may only be a game to you, but to Canadians, hockey is life.
