You oughta know that this is the best thing to ever happen — EVER — to anyone who has ever had both ears and a broken heart.

Canadian singer and reader of minds Alanis Morissette is teaming up with Broadway executives to turn the best breakup album of at least the 1990s, “Jagged Little Pill,” into a musical, Vulture reports.

Producer Tom Kitt, who was responsible for turning Greenday’s “American Idiot” into a popular musical, is handling the details, so this should (hopefully) work out quite nicely for all of us.

You already know all of the songs on “Jagged Little Pill” by heart, but in case you need a refresher, here is what the musical would look like:

1. “All I Really Want”
2. “You Oughta Know” [Every woman’s favorite “fuck you” song.]
3. “Perfect”
4. “Hand in My Pocket” [You couldn’t turn on the radio in 1995 without hearing this song.]
5. “Right Through You”
6. “Forgiven”
7. “You Learn”
8. “Head over Feet”
9. “Mary Jane”
10. “Ironic” [Nothing about this song is ironic.]
11. “Not the Doctor” [This author’s personal favorite.]
12. “Wake Up”
13. “You Oughta Know” (A Capella)

Hell. Yes.

(Also, just a reminder that Alanis was once engaged to Ryan Reynolds, who is now married to Blake Lively. Isn’t that weird?)
