At Washington University in St. Louis, the chancellor has condemned five students who dressed as a Navy SEAL team capturing Osama bin Laden for Halloween. Also, the medical school pointlessly tortured cats until April of this year and the school takes education so frivolously that it hosts porn stars in its main chapel.
For these reasons — and probably lots of others — Washington University is The Daily Caller’s inaugural Ass Clown College of the Week.
The ass clownery at Wash. U. culminated last week after the administration sided firmly with a Muslim student who criticized five students who posed in an Oct. 30 Facebook photo titled “Halloween ’13 Amurrica!!” The photo shows three dudes in camouflage attire surrounding a kid also in camo garb who is sporting a long, fake beard and turban. There’s also a guy in the background holding up an American flag.
Washington University student Mahroh Jahangiri objected to the photo because she views mimicking the American military’s killing of Osama bin Laden as a hateful Muslim stereotype. The photo “is disgusting and cannot be tolerated,” she wrote on her on Facebook page. It represents “a broader, more aggressive (and apparently violent) Islamophobia rampant here at WashU and in the United States.” (RELATED: Muslim student pitches a fit over these awesome Halloween costumes)
No fewer than three high-ranking functionaries at the school including the chancellor, Mark S. Wrighton, signed a statement saying they are “disappointed and saddened” about the awesome Halloween stunt. The statement called the image “entirely inconsistent with who we are as an institution, our values and the way in which we engage in the world around us.”
In the Midwest, Washington University’s image is tied heavily to its medical school, which has been known for years for pointlessly torturing cats.
In late April, the Wash. U. medical school finally promised to stop allowing novice trainees to stick rigid, plastic tubes down the fragile throats of live, anesthetized cats, reports the Riverfront Times.
People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals has pressured the school to make the change since 2008, arguing that Wash. U. was the last school in America to use the gruesome procedure instead of just using mannequins.
PETA has alleged that some cats started to wake up with the stiff tubes down their throats because they weren’t properly anesthetized, the Riverfront Times also notes.

Wash. U. is also famous for the promotion of massive amounts of anal sex.

There was Tori Black, who has appeared in more than 200 movies, including “Anal Buffet 5” and “Deep Anal Drilling.”
There was James Deen, a prodigious actor, has appeared in hundreds of videos including “Big Wet Asses 20” and “Rock and Roll in My Butthole.”
There was also Lance Hart, who specializes in online roles involving fetishes. For example, people pay to watch him be “ball-gagged, bound, and getting done in the butt by a six-foot-tall black lady with a strap-on.”
