Author and human rights investigator Edwin Black exposed the sinister underbelly of the progressive Non-Governmental Organization (NGO) movement and explains why measures to control them often fail in an exclusive interview with The Daily Caller.

“We have need to worry — it is time that we rein in some of these NGOs,” Black said. “The problem is, if they don’t like the law that tries to rein them in, such as the New Israel Fund, which is devoted to democracy, they will convince Knesset members to not even show up and vote in their own Knesset. That is not a democratic value.”
Black’s latest book, “Financing the Flames,” tracks progressive NGO money across the globe, along with the emergence of the “big NGO.”
“In my years of writing books, I’ve researched Big Oil, Big Coal and Big Government, now we have something called Big Data,” Black said. “There is an emerging new international force, international cartel, which seems to report to no one.”
