Harvard students apparently can’t name the capital of Canada.
Some will say this video shows the shallowness of Americans’ knowledge of the world outside their borders, even at our top universities. But is it possible Canada hasn’t done anything important enough for Americans to take notice of it, much less know its capital?
Maybe it is Canadians who need to be more introspective about their country’s inability to capture the American imagination and work a little bit harder at making others care to know their country exists. We’ll let you decide.
